i like the metal version, but there is just one little thing, when the second guitar came in, and had the EXACT same distortion, the rest felt kinda hokey to me

sure distortion is a great thing, but when a lead comes in, it should be a little cleaner

and the background one should be deeper, almost like a bass, but a heavy guitar

song is reallt made nicely, but the actual mixing is slightly lacking, as the highs arent really up there at all, which is depressing because this song has awesome potential

kinda sounds like you were saving the eq room for that once synth that doesnt make a very good lead... but i dunno

uh, definately not your best
kinda cool, but the distortion that happened that sounded unintentional wasnt very nice on the ears

and the random panning of the synth at the beggining weas annoying, once the song stareted up it was better

beginning is too long, i was just kinda assuming you accidentally slapped a low end shelf somehow, confused me

the mixing in this was rather well done, i would have eqed the guitars a little hhigher at the beginning, just to hold interest, but the main part of the song is great

you need to split your vocal track into 2 channels, and have one eqed higher and one lower. take off the some chorus on the lower one and add some reverb to the lower one

for the last part of vocals i liked the panning, and the reverb, but the volume was lacking in parts, and could use more chorus in the highs again

keep up the good work, im impressed with the rest

so begginning was pretty hard to hear you, the piano and your voice were taking up the same frequencies, some eqing would be in order for that, probably on piano, cause it is more versatile than a voice

once you had more chorus in the song, and turned up the vocals a bit, it was easier to hear, but i could still feel the muffle in there

also, you NEED more compression on your vocals, more compression

agree on lac bout the earthbound, its pretty sweet, i like the main little riff that plays, its catchy, and most of the instruments sound pretty good

and yeah, the problem with distortion is it kinda takes over a song, so if you are going to use distortion, you have to eq the shit out of it, so it only has a specific section of the song

drums are pretty decent, bass needs more higher end volume, i could barely hear it

overall, pretty decent, you got potantial

very odd, i must say, sounds cool, unique use of some instruments

but it does not flow, things just jump all over, quite a beautiful mess i must say

intro third is definately the best, but there needs to be flow between sections, otherwise the music just dies
