may i suggest something

the mixing in this was rather well done, i would have eqed the guitars a little hhigher at the beginning, just to hold interest, but the main part of the song is great

you need to split your vocal track into 2 channels, and have one eqed higher and one lower. take off the some chorus on the lower one and add some reverb to the lower one

for the last part of vocals i liked the panning, and the reverb, but the volume was lacking in parts, and could use more chorus in the highs again

keep up the good work, im impressed with the rest

hahaha

its called dont fear the reaper, by blue oyster cult

and nice midi

wow

i'd have to say, you have really improved alot with your audio quality, this is awesome, and catchy, and not repeditive
i love it

voted five, downloaded, orgasmed

all the guitar things you do in this song sound great, the whole thing is just so interesting and unique, very goodjob and i hope you win

DarKsidE555 responds:

With experience comes quality kind sir! I'm pleased as well with my current soundquality, though, there's still room to improve in.

Anyways, thanks for the support on this man, very much appreciated! :D

nice

so begginning was pretty hard to hear you, the piano and your voice were taking up the same frequencies, some eqing would be in order for that, probably on piano, cause it is more versatile than a voice

once you had more chorus in the song, and turned up the vocals a bit, it was easier to hear, but i could still feel the muffle in there

also, you NEED more compression on your vocals, more compression

more compression

Cayler responds:

I'm planning on accumulating more and more music hardware knowledge until eventually my stuff isn't so amateur sounding. Thanks for telling me the things I need because I'm hopeless learning these things on my own. lol

well..

very odd, i must say, sounds cool, unique use of some instruments

but it does not flow, things just jump all over, quite a beautiful mess i must say

intro third is definately the best, but there needs to be flow between sections, otherwise the music just dies

DeathbyGamingX responds:

thanx ill work on the transitions

very nice

though when the weird kick with lots of reverb just kept going off beat all the time, it kinda removed the mood of the entire song, and from there on i couldnt follow the melody, it kinda just turned to sounds instead of music, and their are some weird chops when the choir and strings come in

but the sounds are good... what did you use?

DeathbyGamingX responds:

magix music maker

nice

vocals, mretty good, seemed a little emotionless in everything before 2:20
the parts after were great, good use of chorus to emphesise parts, too much delay on voice in quieter parts, you dont want it to be able to stand out

drums are pretty hokey, but whatever

instruments are generic, but i guess you needed to mainly focus on mixing them around the vocals to make it sound good

Cayler responds:

I glad you noticed all that, means you were really listening. My vocals were emotionless because I was focusing too much on all the hardware working and not on the music. When I recorded this, I had such bad crappy hardware that I had to make sure everything was perfect, and if one thing messed up during the singing, then I had to start all over from the very beginning. So technically all my vocals were like live performances because I couldn't edit them at all except for adding reverb. My ears hurt so bad when I hear this because of all the errors in my vocals. lol The drums are very temporary, just something I threw in while I was writing the song, and haven't replaced yet. I've been waiting for somebody to point out the bad percussion for quite a while actually. haha :D

word

it is all about the constant up and down scaling synths

the rest was pretty awesome too, i liked your tom samples

didnt like the intro too much though, just the synth instrument on the left

good song, but...

the snare was a little too loud
high hat was too quiet
guitar needed more around the 3500hz
singer needs a little less reverb, and maybe a bit more chorus

wow

this is awesome

though i do have to admit the drums are the best part....
